  1. I meant to type, USFL website not USAF. Sorry Pete. I’m an Air Force Veteran and I seem to type that a lot.

  2. I remember Mike. Not personally of course. I just remember him as a player. I also remember and so should you, Dave Pacella. In fact I was on a USAF website a couple of years ago and somehow Dave and I started talking (typing) about the Feds, Maryland and the USFL and before I knew it, we were emailing each other. Funny how things work out. You were part of the GREAT ACC, Pete. Back in the early 1980’s Maryland and the whole ACC really, ruled NCAA football. I loved it! Good times.

  3. Rick, I appreciate the comment and passed along to Nick. My Maryland roommate Mike Mueller was a linebacker for the Federals. Not a good team but it was fun to have another pro league for a couple years.

  4. I ALWAYS liked Nick. He was one of the best, if not the best. I too was a kicker back in the day, just nowhere near as great as Nick. 53 yards was my longest. (I tried out for the Washington Federals of the USFL too. Didn’t make it. lol) Anyway, Thanks Pete.
